I may finally be out of the cash crunch that I've been experiencing for the past six months. How can I tell? I have money to spare after paying the bills and am able to afford Mariners tickets and, possibly, a new hard drive to be dedicated specifically to music.
Some links of interest:
- A review of Redhat Linux 7.1. I haven't read the review yet, but am curious to do so. Redhat 7.0 was widely scorned in the Linux community.
- Reviews of some Maxtor hard drives. Most of my drives are Maxtor, though this is less due to design than to chance.
- The wacky, wacky world of Chickenhead. Some of these are truly hilarious.
- A central repository for information on The Phantom Edit, the fan-modified version of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I've downloaded the first quarter of The Phantom Edit and notice no difference. Jar-Jar is still as annoying as ever. However, research into this project led me to the realization that one can download movies with Bearshare. Holy cats!

2004 — This Old House I've considered building a weblog about our house. I know that if I didn't I'll end up devoting copious space in this weblog to stories about the care and maintenance of our new house.
