Facts
- It took four men to carry the tub from the garage to the house.
- AmyJo was right; I'm glad I got the five-and-a-half foot model. The tub is long.
- The tub is also deep. It holds prodigious quantities of water.
- The exposed pipes get damn hot.
- It is a huge step t get into and out of the tub. We're going to buy a small stool. Craziness!
- A year without bathing has undone a lifetime of adaptation. Over thirty-five years of baths, my feet had become accustomed to long soaks. No more. After two one-hour baths in twelve hours, they're protesting in agony.
- Oh yeah: I've taken two one-hour baths in the last twelve hours. I'll take another tonight. And two more tomorrow. And...
