the CATS of rosings park
Max, Simon, and Nemo (click to see larger versions)
We are watching over Kris & JD’s house, a mere seven-tenths of a mile from our new house, while they are traveling throughout England and Ireland. Our tasks include watering the garden and caring for their four cats: Toto, Nemo, Simon, and Max. I love cats so this isn’t much of a chore at all. While we’ve been here I’ve been playing with my new NIKON D80 and the cats have made fine subjects.
Toto is a cranky old lady who hisses at me (thus, no photos), but is fond of Paul. Maybe he reminds her of JD? Nemo is a jumpy Siamese who is terrified of us. Simon is a big, handsome tabby. He is happy to have us around, especially when we are out in the garden. I think he associates garden work with his beloved Kris. And Max, sweet, sweet Max, is playful and very affectionate, and not much more than a year old. He hangs out with us whenever he has a chance. I miss boy cats–my beloved Theo passed away three years ago and I’m not sure if Hanna and Ruby would adjust to a new addition. Thus, I’m getting all the boy cat lovin’ I can get while I can.
