Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted Forest Theme Park in Salem has been open since 1971, but I had never been there... until today. Steph wanted to do something fun with the kids, so I took most of the day off and spent the day with my family.

Noah in front of the Hansel & Gretel House.

Steph and the Wicked Witch...
Noah was scared of most of the Fairy Tale attractions, especially ones with dark, winding, cavern-like pathways... but I made him walk through a few with me anyway. Steph actually talked him into going on the Ice Mountain Bobsled ride, but afterwards he stated that he didn't like it because it was too crazy and wild for him. So, we went to find a tamer ride for him, and he still insisted that I ride with him...

The train moved a whole 2 miles per hour, and the cars rocked around and played Old McDonald Had a Farm... my, what a gay old time that was...
As we exited through the Enchanted Forest gift shop, we let the kids each pick one souvenir to take home with them. Noah picked a die-cast US Postal Service delivery truck (that had absolutely nothing to do with the Enchanted Forest), and Em... well, here's what she picked out...

That tiara fits her all too well! ;-)
