My mom sent home Emily's birthday present a few days early, and Miss Em just couldn't wait to open it...

The 'puppy shirt' and tea set were both part of the gift.

The weather today was absolutely gorgeous -- 59 degrees and sunny -- so Emily wanted to have her tea party outside. We brewed some iced tea and served iced animal cookies for the crumpets. She was quite the gracious little hostess, and made sure that I had all the tea and crumpets I needed. I think she had fun. :-)
