The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Two years ago today I got the best birthday present I ever could have asked for: I got to bring my newborn baby boy home from the hospital.

Noah turned two on Saturday, and we have been playing with his new battery powered Thomas every spare moment since then. We even built a tunnel out of mega blocks. He puts his head down and sights through the tunnel as Thomas approaches, and I make "choo-choo" noises as it passes by. Then he comes and jumps in my lap, making his own "choo-choo" noises and bouncing with glee.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Happy Birthday, Jeff! Isn't it amazing at how fast they grow up?

And Happy Birthday to Noah as well!

How refreshing to come over and visit this site for awhile, :-)

You have quite a little man.

It does get better as they get older and try to copy everything you do, have more understanding, you can carry on a conversation with them, and do projects together.

Then they turn 13, well that has its good time too.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and for coming over to visit my quiet little site.

Well, Thomas the choo-choo has been used so much that I had to put a new battery in it last night. It started really slowing down and could barely make it up the bridge, which made Noah want to give it a little boost of his own. He was most excited when the rejuvenated choo-choo was buzzing around the track again.

Jeff that is a darling picture oF Noah sure wish Grandpa could see his little namesake. He sure would be proud of him. Are you and Steph going to be at JD AND KRIS'S openhouse on Sunday? Post it on the roth site if you are. I HOPE WE CAN COME.

Sorry Elizabeth. We wanted to go to the open house, but we had already made plans to go camping at Ft. Stevens.
