Trick-or-Treat

Tonight Adelaide learned all about Halloween.

Or, at least, Adelaide learned about dressing up like a cat,

driving from house to house,

hanging out with friends,

and scoring some serious Halloween loot (Thanks for the sweet candy bag, Marmee!)
Happy Halloween!

I just looked closer - does Caleb have a Barbie on his jacket?

A lot of older folks in Vermillion give nickels and dimes to trick-or-treaters ... One man said to Adelaide after handing her a shiny nickel, "There, now you can buy yourself some more candy!" Nice thought, but I don't know where you can buy candy for a nickel anymore ...
About the seatbelt ... No comment.
Caleb was holding the Barbie Doll for his brother, Joe (also pictured). Joe duct-taped several Barbie Dolls to himself, and went as a Chick Magnet. Very clever, no??

I think with two nickels, she can still buy a little box of Lemon Heads.
I was wondering about that Barbie, too.
Clever of you to do a costume that was sneaky enough to pass the "must rip off this item of clothing immediately" test.

Yeah, we had her practice wearing cat ears for a week before Halloween. It seemed to help, as she was willing to wear her complete costume for up to ten minutes at a time before whipping off the ears to look at them, talk about them, and offer them to other people.
